Computational Design, Interior Design and Urban Planning
As a Senior Designer at Rojkind Arquitectos, I specialized in the intersection of computational design and structural reality. My work focused on developing complex parametric elements that redefined the relationship between form, function, and the urban fabric across several high-profile architectural and interior projects.
Role & Contribution
Key Projects & Contributions
Cineteca Nacional | The Social Canopy
I played a pivotal role in developing the signature parametric roof element, which serves as the architectural heart of the national film archives.
I helped develop the parametric modeling of the roof’s perforated skin, ensuring the intricate patterns met both aesthetic goals and structural requirements. This element transformed the site from a simple theater into a vibrant, multi-level public plaza that serves as a social hub for the city.
Liverpool Insurgentes | The Habitable Façade
For this flagship department store, I helped develop a habitable façade system that challenged the traditional "big box" retail model.
Impact: By utilizing parametric tools to optimize the façade’s openings and depth, we created a landmark building that breathes with the city, effectively turning a retail space into an iconic piece of urban sculpture in Mexico City.
Transformadora Ciel (Coca-Cola) | Adaptive Reuse
Working with Coca-Cola Mexico, I helped reinterpret a decommissioned industrial helipad into a forward-thinking coworking and innovation space.
Reinterpretation: The project required a delicate balance of preserving the industrial character while introducing modern, flexible office environments.
